History

Commenced in 1996 and Originally trading as Byford Hoses the first step in our history was deciding to start importing food grade hoses directly, this commenced after Gary Byford came across Trelleborg hoses whilst researching the wine industry in Europe. The hoses were then introduced to the Australian market, initially for use on Byford Equipment milk tankers designed for Murray Goulburn & also in their unloading bays. The range was expanded to a variety of Trelleborg hoses to fill the needs of Australian industry, this combined with Trelleborg's expertise in hygienic attachment of hose fittings meant the rapid advancement of hygienic hoses in Australasia. It was soon realized that this was and still is the best product available for the Food and Beverage industry.

Trojan Transport Spares was founded 2006, Trojan Transport Spares continued to distribute Trelleborg Hoses and assembly systems for the Asia pacific region, exporting to various countries as well as expanding our customer base to include some of Australia's largest food and beverage manufacturers, then in 2009 when we changed our name to Trojan Fluid Solutions to better reflect what we do.

Now as Byford Fluid Solutions we continue to offer to our customer's new and innovative fluid solutions with expert backup and exceptional products from Trelleborg and have grown to have a range of parts and hoses from around the world so we can better service industry in Australasia.

We have gained knowledge in this field through visiting and discussing requirements with all manner of industries.
